General cargo transport
General cargo consists of individually countable goods transported as crates, packages, racks or other load units. Each item, its handling and any transfer points must be clearly described for safe transport.

Dimensions and gross weight are required for each package. We also assess fork access, stackability, centre of gravity, sensitive sides and handling capability. There is no blanket maximum; the specific transport chain determines feasibility.
Subject to a positive feasibility review, we organise transport within Germany and cross-border EU routes. Both addresses, access conditions and handover points are checked before an order is accepted.
Transport planning
Depending on their design, packages may be handled by pallet truck, forklift, crane or manually. Required equipment and safe lifting surfaces must be available or arranged at collection and delivery.
Packaging must withstand normal transport and handling stresses. Contents must not move; protruding parts, glass, liquids or special sensitivities must be declared. Dangerous goods require separate approval.
Price depends on the number and characteristics of packages, occupied cargo space, weight, route, handling capability, equipment, timing and additional services. Consistent data for each package enables reliable calculation.
FAQ
General cargo may be palletised but does not have to be. Crates, racks or independent packages are assessed according to their individual shape and handling requirements.
Yes. Each package needs a clear description with dimensions and weight. If items belong together or must be delivered together, this should be stated in the request.
The handover point and required equipment are defined in the quotation. Ramp, kerbside, level handover or additional services apply only as expressly confirmed.
