For machinery and technical equipment, weight, centre of gravity, lifting points and sensitivity determine the entire process. VELTORIS plans the transport chain only when the goods, packaging, loading route and destination conditions are clearly documented.
Dimensions and weights
A general weight or size approval would be unreliable. Exact transport dimensions, gross weight, centre of gravity, lifting points or fork pockets, tilt sensitivity, operating fluids and manufacturer instructions are required to select the vehicle and restraint concept.
Collection and delivery
Subject to a positive feasibility review, we organise transport within Germany and cross-border EU routes. Both addresses, access conditions and handover points are checked before an order is accepted.

Loading and handling equipment
A forklift, crane, tail lift or level-access loading is planned only where capacity, reach and space are suitable. The customer must confirm load-bearing surfaces, access and safe handover points.
Packaging and load restraint
Machinery must be protected against movement, moisture and damage to sensitive attachments. Transport locks, closures, fluid condition and permitted lifting points must be documented. Dangerous goods are accepted only after a separate review.
How the price is determined
Price reflects distance, machine weight, occupied cargo space, specialist vehicle, restraint equipment, loading and unloading equipment, waiting time, permit requirements and timing. Reliable data prevents later replanning.

Can a crane or forklift be arranged?
This can form part of the quotation after a technical review. We need weight, load centre, lifting points, required reach and information about the supporting surface.
Must machinery be placed on a pallet?
Not necessarily. A pallet, machinery skid, crate or direct restraint may be suitable. Safe handling, sufficient load capacity and a documented restraint method are decisive.
Are fixed delivery dates possible?
Time windows or fixed appointments are confirmed only after capacity and route checks. Required handling equipment and contacts must be available during the confirmed window.
