Common questions, clear answers.
Information about shipping, tracking, scheduling and privacy.
What goods can I ship with VELTORIS?
Large furniture, technical equipment, pallets, general cargo, long goods and other consignments unsuited to normal parcel shipping because of size, weight or handling.
How does tracking work?
Enter the shipment number and recipient postcode. You will then see approved milestones, the last confirmed location and the delivery forecast.
Why do I need the shipment number and recipient postcode?
The combination prevents shipment information from being viewed by guessing a shipment number alone.
Do I need an account?
No. Public tracking works without an account. An account brings together linked shipments, notifications and available delivery slots.
When can I choose a delivery slot?
Only once the shipment is operationally ready, scheduling has been opened and capacity is available for the destination area.
Can I change a confirmed appointment?
Available alternatives may be selected until the stated booking deadline. After that, contact shipment service by email.
What happens if nobody is available?
The delivery attempt is documented. You receive a status update and, once enabled, a new scheduling option.
What should I do if a shipment is damaged?
Document visible damage at handover and send photos, the shipment number and a short description using the contact category “Complaint or damage”.
How do I request transport?
Use the multi-step enquiry form. Your details are stored securely and reviewed by dispatch.
What information is needed for a quote?
Pickup and delivery address, type of goods, quantity, packaging, dimensions, weights, preferred periods, access and available loading aids.
Can dangerous goods be transported?
Dangerous goods and specially regulated items can only be accepted after individual assessment. Please include the dangerous-goods class and available documents with your enquiry.
How is my data protected?
Access is checked server-side, sensitive documents are stored privately, requests are rate-limited and administrative changes are logged. Details are available in the privacy notice.
